Who we are ?
Mrs. Kausalya Thirupuvanam
Mrs. Kausalya Thirupuvanam was one of the founding members of the Thirupuvanam Foundation. We consider her the matriarch and guiding light of the Foundation, she is the one who ensures that the Trustees, Staff, Students and all Donors, Beneficiaries, Recipients all know that it is a privilege to be involved with the Foundation. Very few people are honoured with the concept of Giving and Sharing, and because of this, everyone associated with the Foundation needs to understand this privilege and treat it as a sacred service that they are performing, by either donating, receiving or working with the Foundation.
The foundation abides by the principle that education is a powerful tool that can help reduce poverty.
We help to
-
Elevate the standards of an underprivileged child, by empowering them with education and life skills
-
Supplement education, with nutrition, training and guidance on hygiene and sanitation
-
Encourage and mentor students to pursue higher education or vocational training
Our Mission
“To Serve and To Share is the Sacred Secret of Success”
Our Vision
We envisage upon reaching more children through sponsoring more schools, increasing hostel facilities and expanding the scholarship.
Our Trustees
The trustees are the cog in the wheel of our foundation. They shoulder the operational responsibilities and play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects receive the necessary financial backing. They are the foot soldiers who put the foundation’s interests in front of theirs and ensure that the operational functionalities of the foundation run seamlessly.
The two senior trustees – Mr. Thirumal Thirupuvanam and Mr. Muruga Manickam, have been travelling with the foundation since its nascent stages and have been committed to the cause. Their unequivocal support to the foundation, ensure that the trust earned respect and social acceptance in the communities near and far.
Our Staffs
The foundation’s team members are flesh and blood of our organization. Without them, our foundation would cease to exist. It is their day to day contribution, their ability to prioritize dynamic workloads and delivering the commitments, that keep this organization running and helping scores of children. The foundation is always grateful for the contributions made by the staff members.
