At the heart of our foundation’s mission is our esteemed managing trustee, Mrs. Kausalya Thirupuvanam, who, at 102 years old, brings a wealth of wisdom and experience. Understanding firsthand the challenges that come with aging, Mrs. Thirupuvanam inspired us to reach out to the elderly in our community. Following her advice, we visited several old age homes in and around Bangalore to identify and address their most pressing needs.

During our visits to more than five old age homes, we discovered a critical shortage of essential supplies. In response, we provided dry rations to several homes, ensuring that their basic nutritional needs were met. However, one visit to the Sai Samrudhi old age home revealed a more urgent requirement. With over 15 bedridden patients, Sai Samrudhi struggled to secure the necessary 40 diapers per day for their residents.

Understanding the gravity of their situation, our trustees promptly decided to support Sai Samrudhi by supplying the much-needed diapers. To ensure we provided the best care, we sought quotes from various vendors for high-quality, pull-up type XL diapers. To guarantee the effectiveness and comfort of the diapers, we requested feedback from the caregivers at Sai Samrudhi. Upon receiving positive confirmation, we commenced our daily delivery of diapers on April 21st, ensuring that the elderly at Sai Samrudhi receive the compassionate care they deserve.
